Terms and conditions
The rules for using this website and the general terms that apply to our services.

Acceptance
By using this website or engaging Indie & Cooperatives (“Indie & Co.”, “we”, “us”) for any service, you agree to these terms. A signed proposal, quote or grant agreement for a specific project may add terms; where they conflict, the project document takes priority.
Our services
We provide website design and development, SEO, advertising management, content, branding and related services, as described on our services page. Deliverables, timelines and fees for paid work are confirmed in writing before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope, such as extra pages, features or revision rounds, may be quoted separately.
Quotes, grants and payment
Prices on our pricing page are a guide. Final pricing is confirmed in a written quote, which is valid until the expiry date shown on it. The Digital Acceleration Grant is a limited, selective offer for qualifying established businesses, subject to review; it covers build costs only, and the stated infrastructure fee applies after the complimentary period. Ongoing services are billed on the agreed schedule and continue only while payments are up to date. Domain registration fees are the client’s responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and content (logos, images, text) that you have the right to use;
- Give feedback, approvals and access within a reasonable time;
- Keep any logins we provide secure and confidential;
- Make third-party accounts we need (domain, ad accounts, Google Business Profile) available during the engagement.
Delays in content, feedback or access may move timelines.
Ownership of work
When a project is paid in full, ownership of the final delivered work passes to you, except for (a) third-party assets that are licensed rather than owned, such as stock photos, fonts and plugins, which stay under their own licences; and (b) our general methods, code libraries and know-how, which we may reuse. Until full payment, the work remains ours. We may show completed projects in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Free tools and content
The free website check and our articles are general information, provided “as is”. They look at a limited set of public signals and are not a full audit or professional advice for your specific situation. Only enter website addresses you own or are allowed to check. Don’t use the site or its tools to send spam, overload our systems, attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, or break the law.
Referral partner programme
Joining the partner programme requires approval. Commission is confirmed and payable only after a referred client completes any complimentary period and becomes a paying client, and is paid by bank transfer within 5 business days of confirmation. Rates are shown on the partner page and in the portal and may change with notice; changes don’t affect commission already confirmed. Partners must describe our services honestly, must not make promises on our behalf and must not use spam. We may decline or remove partners for misleading, fraudulent or abusive activity, and withhold commission tied to that activity.
No guaranteed results
We work with reasonable skill and care, but rankings, traffic, ad performance and sales depend on many factors outside our control, including competitors, search engine and platform changes and market conditions. We don’t guarantee specific rankings or results.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data) arising from the use of this website or our services, and our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid for it in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
Website availability
We aim to keep this website and the Business Portal available, but can’t guarantee uninterrupted access, as third-party infrastructure can have outages outside our control.
Links to other sites
We link to client websites, WhatsApp and other services. We aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and the courts of Trinidad and Tobago have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We’d always rather resolve a concern by talking first, so please contact us.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms. Changes don’t affect projects already agreed in writing.
